Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your booking and use of any vehicle or service provided by Hassan Rent a Car Gujrat ("we", "us", "our"). By making a booking with us — by phone, WhatsApp, our website contact form or in person — you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & requirements

• Self-drive rentals: you must hold a valid driving licence and provide your original valid CNIC and licence for verification at the time of handover.
• Chauffeur-driven rentals: a professional driver is provided by us; no licence is required from you.
• You confirm that the information you give us at booking is accurate and that you are legally permitted to enter into this agreement.

2. Bookings & quotes

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Rates vary depending on the vehicle, duration, distance and whether you choose a driver. A clear, all-in quote is agreed with you before the booking is confirmed. Bookings are subject to vehicle availability, and we recommend reserving premium and wedding vehicles in advance.

• The minimum rental period is one day (24 hours).
• Our rentals have no mileage limit — you are free to drive as far as your trip requires.
• We can deliver and collect the vehicle across Gujrat and nearby cities for an additional charge, or you are welcome to collect it from us.

3. Pricing, fuel & payment

• The price quoted at booking is the agreed price for the service described.
• Fuel is not included and is paid by the client. Self-drive vehicles are provided fuelled and should be returned as agreed.
• For chauffeur-driven bookings, a driver allowance (typically around PKR 3,000 per day) applies, and on multi-day trips the client provides the driver's meals and accommodation. These are confirmed in your quote.
• Tolls, parking and any traffic fines incurred during the rental are the responsibility of the client.

4. Security deposit

• Self-drive rentals require a refundable security deposit, the amount of which varies by vehicle. It is returned to you after the vehicle is returned on time and in the same condition, less any agreed deductions for damage, fines or missing fuel.
• Chauffeur-driven rentals do not require a security deposit.

5. Use of the vehicle

You agree to use the vehicle lawfully and responsibly. The vehicle must not be: used for any illegal purpose; sub-let or handed to an unauthorised driver; used for racing, towing or off-road use unless agreed; or taken outside the agreed area without our consent. Any accident, breakdown or damage must be reported to us immediately.

6. Insurance, damage & liability

Our vehicles are not provided with separate rental insurance cover. Liability therefore depends on how you rent:

• Self-drive rentals: during the rental period the renter is responsible for the vehicle, including any damage, loss, theft, traffic violations or fines, however caused. Costs of repair or replacement arising from your use of the vehicle may be charged to you and/or deducted from the security deposit.
• Chauffeur-driven rentals: the vehicle remains in the care of our professional driver, so you do not carry liability for accidental damage to the vehicle.

In the event of an accident you must inform us and the relevant authorities promptly and not admit liability on our behalf.

7. Cancellations & changes

You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup, or no-shows, may incur a charge. To change or cancel a booking, contact us as early as possible by phone or WhatsApp.

8. Late returns

Please return the vehicle at the agreed time and place. Late returns may be charged at the applicable daily or hourly rate and may affect the next customer's booking.

9. Limitation of liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (such as weather, road closures, vehicle breakdown or acts of authorities). Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Gujrat, Punjab.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.
